NERGY AND SUSTAINABILITY
Healthy living and living in a busy metropolis like Amsterdam
That was the starting point of the renovation of CS 49-51. Thus, much attention was paid to circularity, latest ventilation requirements and air purification. But also on sound insulation, use of heat pump, floor and air cooling. In short, all new techniques have been used to optimise light, peace and space. The penthouse has an energy label A.
UNDERFLOOR HEATING AND COOLING
Underfloor heating and cooling is used over the entire surface in the flat. During warm periods of the year, the floor can be cooled. As the floor construction is cooler than the room temperature, the room will feel more comfortable.
HYBRID HEAT PUMP
A hybrid heat pump extracts heat from the air. The system turns this into usable energy. Gas consumption drops significantly or even to zero. This reduces CO2 emissions for heating the home.
SEDUMDAK
A green roof or sedum roof has been laid on the roof of the ground-floor apartment. This is not only nice for nature but is also very pleasant with regard to insulation. It also provides a beautiful view for the residents of the flats above.
SOUND INSULATION
To improve the acoustics in the flats, a concrete floor was used. In addition, a floating floor was used, which ensures that fewer vibrations, such as impact noise, are transmitted to the concrete floor.
