Design vision
From an industrial area with windmills to a city district rich in architecture, the Vondelbuurt, as we know it today, has undergone an impressive transformation since the 19th century. The neighborhood is named after the famous poet Joost van den Vondel. Accessibility

There is also a good connection to Schiphol Airport via the Amsterdam Lelylaan train and metro station.
Parking
Parking is available through a permit system on public streets (permit area West-11.3). With a parking permit for West-11.3, you may park in West.11. A resident parking permit costs €186.29 for 6 months. Currently, there is a 3-month waiting period for this permit area. A second parking permit is not available in this area.
