Koen brings broad expertise in real estate, and project development.

Koen is a new-build specialist at Broersma Wonen, combining experience, enthusiasm, and a keen eye for detail. With a background in real estate studies and marketing, he knows how to guide projects successfully from start to finish. “The best moment is always when someone buys their dream home. That’s truly a celebration,” says Koen.

During his studies in Real Estate and Estate Agency, Koen discovered his passion for project development and new builds. “With new builds, you can contribute right from the start,” he explains. “You provide advice on layouts, pricing, and what best meets the client’s needs. That intensive, personal process is what makes it so special.”

His experience with major projects like Hyde Park in Hoofddorp gave him a solid foundation, but at Broersma, he has found his ideal work environment. “Here, we do more than just sales. We combine consultancy, marketing, and project development. That broad approach makes us unique in Amsterdam.”

Koen enjoys the diversity of Amsterdam, where he works with a wide range of clients—from expats to true Amsterdammers looking to move into new builds.

He finds relaxation in activities like running half marathons, DIY projects, and boating. “Cruising through the Amsterdam canals or wakeboarding in Friesland gives me energy. I also enjoy DIY projects with my brother in his construction company.”

Koen has a soft spot for Amsterdam-Zuid, with its beautiful architecture, lively cafés, and excellent sports facilities. “Everything there has a special charm.”

His favourite spot is Brasserie Van Dam in Amsterdam-Zuid. “It’s a place with a homely atmosphere, delicious food, and a relaxed vibe—perfect for a drink after a day of work”.
