This contemporary ground-floor apartment is part of a building block – constructed in 1930 – consisting of 7 plots and a total of 19 homes, located at Bonaireplein 16 and Bonairestraat 56 to 66. The houses on the street and in the immediate surroundings were built in the architectural style of the ‘Amsterdam School’. This style focuses on the exterior form, which is solid and massive. Characteristic of this style are the red brickwork and large bay windows. When Libra International B.V. owned the entire building at Bonairestraat 62, the property was divided into 3 separate apartment rights in 2007. This division was carried out with the accompanying division permit, and in 2005, a foundation investigation was conducted based on lintel joint measurement and floor leveling.
The interior of the property was extensively renovated in 2020/2021. This renovation was carried out with great care and taste, as evidenced by the high-quality choice of materials, the finish of the extension, and the beautifully landscaped garden.
